The reActor series features rugged, shock-proof housing and supports multiple expansion modules: reActor xr2 is tailored for the most demanding real-time content while reActor Live2 is optimized for touring and rental applications. The Double and Unit servers are compact and ideal for fixed installations, balancing performance and space efficiency. Additionally, the Mini server is specifically designed for lightweight video setups in confined spaces.

LightAct 4 Software focusing on  Performance and Reliability

LightAct prioritizes performance and reliability while consistently improving workflows for media server operators.  It combines fast timeline-based content sequencing with a flexible node-based layer system. It is a reliable and performant software and hardware solution offering a complete projection mapping toolset with projection study and proprietary camera-based projector calibration. It’s also the only media server with its own markerless tracking system.

It’s a new AV solution for creating amazing live events and memorable experiences.

A markerless tracking system designed for interactive installations and events

Using ceiling-mounted depth cameras, LightTrack tracks movement without needing beacons or markers. It operates reliably in various lighting conditions and can be used indoors and outdoors. Integrated with LightAct, it allows for seamless tracking, rendering, and output with minimal latency. The setup is straightforward, relying on Power-over-Ethernet cameras, which reduce complexity and support multiple cameras connected to a single server. Users can even simulate tracking data before purchase, allowing them to fine-tune visuals before installation. Once set up, switching from simulation to real data is effortless.

LightAct launches LightTrack, a markerless tracking system!

Today, LightAct is launching LightTrack, a markerless tracking system. It is fully integrated into LightAct which means you get a tracking system and a media server in a single package.

It uses industrial Power-over-Ethernet depth cameras for tracking, so it works in daylight or complete darkness.

You can also enable Simulate mode, which allows you to preview your visuals without having to connect a single camera.

We Expanded Software Licenses

At LightAct, our unwavering commitment lies in delivering top-tier audiovisual and multimedia tools to cater to a diverse user base. 

With this mission in mind, we upgraded LightAct software licenses so that they include a range of features that were previously limited to our servers only. This way, our solutions became much more accessible for smaller projects and installations that value cost efficiency.

LightAct Software Licenses now include LightNet, tracking and other advanced functionalities.

With this overarching goal in mind, we organised our software licensing into 4 tiers:

Creator

Creator is the Free license you’ve grown accustomed to. It hasn’t changed a bit. It still has all the features and outputs unlocked and you can save your work. The only drawback is that there is a watermark on all the outputs.

Basic

Basic license tier is what we have been offering so far as our software-only option. It’s a license tier designed for simpler installations and projects where a standalone server is enough.

Pro

Pro license tier is where the biggest change is. It’s a flexible and scalable license tier that comes, by default, with LightNet – our multi-server toolset.

On top of that, various add-ons unlock additional functionalities that were so far limited to our servers. These include all object and camera tracking technologies, Multi-User fuctionality, LightAct Manager and many others.

Unlimited

Unlimited license tier is our highest offering which is limited to our servers only. This part hasn’t changed.

We believe this reorganisation of our software licenses, especially the addition of Pro license tier, will empower users further by giving them more options for a wide range of projects.

Rightway Audio Consultants appointed as LightAct’s distributor in Greater China

LightAct appoints Rightway Audio Consultants as an exclusive distributor for Greater China region (including: mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan).

This partnership is launched on the heels of a successful completion of Shanghai Media Group’s venue in Shanghai, China where LightAct’s servers run all of the video screens and projectors in the venue. LightAct works hand-in-hand with Blacktrax’s tracking technology and uses the incoming data to render Notch effects in real-time.

As a further sign of Racpro’s firm belief in LightAct’s technology, they decided to invest and obtain several reActor, Sync and Solo servers as well as various configurations of Iris camera kits. 

Both parties believe that this partnership will facilitate a better and more responsive support of LightAct users and enable a faster expansion of LightAct in the region.
