Onsite Commissioning
Last updated: 7.7.2023
Sometimes we travel to the site to help with the commissioning.
In this document we outline the requirements.
Terminology
- The Client in this document, refers to the company that has bought our products for the project we are helping to set up.
- The Site refers to the location where the audiovisual installation and/or equipment we are helping to set up is located.
Flights and hotels
We fly Economy class with the shortest travel time. Flight tickets are always paid by the Client. We usually book them ourselves and include them in the last invoice.
3 star or above single rooms for every member of our staff need to be booked in the same hotel by the Client. The hotel needs to be reasonably close to the Site. The booking needs to be done in advance and paid for by the Client.
Arrangements and Equipment on the Site
The following equipment will need to be available onsite in direct vicinity of the area we are helping to set up:
- a desk with at least as many chairs as there are members of our staff. On this desk, it should be possible to either setup the server and connect it to all the necessary equipment or use remote connection (TightVNC) to connect to the server and set it up.
- In addition to that, there also needs to be a power supply with several splitters,
- a reliable internet connection and access to bathrooms and grocery shops.
- Safety gear such as helmets or vests need to be provided by The Client. If we need to bring safety shoes, please inform us in advance.
- If we need any kind of access badges or eq, arranging them is a responsibility of the Client.
Exclusions
In the absence of a written agreement stating otherwise, there are specific categories of tasks that we expressly exclude from our scope of work:
- We do not undertake the installation of servers, cameras, projectors, and their corresponding power supply, unless expressly agreed upon in writing.
- The installation of network and video cabling, routers, nodes, and other related equipment is not within our purview, unless specifically stated otherwise in a written agreement.
- We are not responsible for engaging in activities such as drilling, sawing, or any other tasks that necessitate the use of power tools or physical labor, unless otherwise specified in writing.
- It is not our responsibility to arrange or bear the costs associated with renting or purchasing lifts, forklifts, or any other equipment, unless explicitly agreed upon in a written agreement.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace the terms and stipulations in this document at any time.
