We chose LightAct because of very good experience we had with it in previous projects.

Achieving a shared, three-dimensional vision is crucial for successful urban development projects. Japan’s Urban Renaissance Agency (UR) sought a modern solution and chose immersive theater to provide an engaging, common visual experience for its stakeholders.

To maximize immersion, the project utilized a highly realistic CG animation based on the REAL 3DMAP OSAKA photorealistic city model. This dynamic content showcased UR’s urban regeneration areas across multiple, specially designed projection screens.

LightAct's projection mapping features allowed us to very quickly map the content.

The entire multi-screen environment was seamlessly managed and driven by the compact yet powerful LightAct Mini server. This server handled the precise playback, warping, and blending, ensuring the complex display delivered a unified, high-impact experience.

CAD CENTER CORPORATION delivered a complete, turnkey solution—including construction, equipment setup, and system integration—all orchestrated by LightAct.

LightAct Mini was perfect for this job, because of it's small size and reasonable price.

The completed theater was installed at the UR Morinomiya Building social experiment site. It has been highly praised internally for its effectiveness in communicating future concepts. Following successful internal screenings, UR is now considering expanding the content for broader use, validating LightAct as a superior tool for visual planning and consensus-building.
