Museum of Science and Industry
In 2022, Montreal-based creative agency Supply + Demand approached the LightAct team with a unique challenge: they needed a robust, flexible media server to power a groundbreaking new immersive space at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL, USA.
Hosted in the museum’s brand-new Griffin Studio, Notes to Neurons is an interactive exhibition co-produced by Supply + Demand and the Griffin MSI.
It invites visitors to explore the biological and emotional heartbeat of music, blending:
- Immersive Audio: A spatialized soundscape reacting to the audience.
- Gesture Recognition: visitors can interact with the environment.
- Immersive projections: 360° projections showing how
