Over the past five months, we’ve trained around 100 operators, with about 20 more joining in September. We’re incredibly grateful for all the positive feedback we’ve received, and while there’s now a sufficient number of skilled LightAct operators on the market, the challenge has been a limited supply of LightAct servers.
To address this, we’ve started partnering with companies like Creative Technology, who have large fleets of their own hardware. For instance, our partnership with CT provides around 30 servers immediately available for your shows. We will be announcing partnerships with other hardware manufacturers in the coming weeks, and the number of certified servers will increase dramatically.
This means the problem of finding LightAct-capable hardware on the rental market is now a much smaller one. You can confidently specify LightAct for your next show, knowing there will be a server available for rent.

Our certification process has made it clear that server’s configuration and setup play a major role in performance. This means that while we are 100% confident in the quality of all the hardware we have and will certify, we can guarantee specific performance levels only on LightAct hardware.
