Always on the lookout for new media server technology PlanValley sent three team members to LightAct training sessions to expand their creative toolkit. They highlight LightAct’s efficient and dynamic software solutions that make a partnership between both companies a promising step.

Ljubljana, Slovenia – August 22, 2025 – LightAct, a leading media server software solution provider, is proud to announce a new partnership with Creative Technology UK, a premier supplier of event technology. This collaboration will certify Creative Technology’s hardware to run LightAct’s software, combining two industry-leading solutions for enhanced performance and reliability in live events.

As the number of certified LightAct operators grows globally, the demand for high-quality, pre-certified hardware solutions is greater than ever. To meet this need, LightAct is strategically expanding its network of certified hardware providers around the world, with Creative Technology being the first partner in this initiative.

We are thrilled to certify Creative Technology’s robust G-series range of media servers. Designed for the most advanced and complex shows, these machines will be pre-loaded with the entire suite of LightAct software solutions, with all features unlocked.

The certified G-series media servers will be available for rent through Creative Technology UK starting in September 2025. This partnership ensures that besides LightAct hardware, operators have also access to reliable, high-performance 3rd party systems that are ready to run demanding shows from day one.

There are now more than 60 certified LightAct Operators

LightAct, a leading innovator in media server technology, is thrilled to announce that the global community of certified LightAct Operators has now surpassed 60 individuals. This significant milestone underscores the growing demand and adoption of the powerful LightAct system across the live events, fixed installations and broadcast industries.

This expansion of certified professionals was significantly boosted by the successful completion of two Advanced LightAct training sessions held in Germany earlier this year. The first session took place in Köln in March, followed by another in Frankfurt in April. These intensive training programs provided attendees with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to leverage the full potential of the LightAct ecosystem.

Participants in both sessions received comprehensive instruction covering the entire LightAct system, including the flagship LightAct 4 software, the essential Manager application, and the WebUI. Furthermore, the training included demonstrations of LightAct’s servers and computer vision solutions.
Adding to this momentum, LightAct is pleased to announce another Advanced training session scheduled to take place at the end of May in Slovenia. This upcoming session will further contribute to the growth of the LightAct operator network.
