AutoBlend crash

On some computers, AutoBlend crashes when clicking on Calculate button.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set up projectors or open 3D Projection Mapping sample project
  2. Open AutoBlend window
  3. Click on Calculate button (disable dynamic blending before if you need to)

Workaround

Use dynamic blending instead. You can disable it after it calculates or use change threshold to reduce the calculation framerate.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use Render to Canvas node to render some content to a canvas
  2. Press Play
  3. Press Top and the Render to Canvas node will have its parent set to None

Mapping (top left position) of a screen or a projector on a canvas can’t be adjusted manually and doesn’t save

Positions of video screens and projectors on a canvas (set up in Canvas setup window) can’t be adjusted manually and upon save & open of the project are reset to 0,0.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a video screen or a projector and a canvas
  2. map the screen to the canvas in the Source tab
  3. double click the canvas to open its setup window
  4. double click on the video screen to map it onto the canvas
  5. try to adjust the x & y value using the textbox. The position won’t change.
  6. Move the screen to something else than 0,0.
  7. Save and open the project and the screen will be back to 0,0

Art-Net (eDMX) fixtures don’t work with throwers

Art-Net (eDMX) fixtures cannot pull content from throwers (perspective nor orthogonal). This has been caused by the upgrade of throwers in 3.5.0.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create an eDMX fixture and a thrower (of either type)
  2. Open the Source tab of the fixture and you’ll see the thrower is not listed there.

Art-Net Reader node crashes on node select if port 6454 is taken

If port 6454 is taken by a different UDP Reader node or a 3rd party software, an enabled Art-Net Reader node causes a crash when you select it.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Make sure port 6454 is taken (receiving) data either by UDP Reader node or by a 3rd part app.
  2. Create an Art-Net Reader node and check its Listening/Streaming checkbox.
  3. Select the node.

Workaround

Make sure the port is not taken when you enable Art-Net Reader node.

Lightact reverts to Free license despite dongle
